Main duties of the job
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Speech andLanguage Therapists to join our Independent Clinician Network to undertake ADOSassessments. Our network is growing exponentially so we have considerableopportunities for clinicians experienced in ADOS assessments.
All Psicon associate ADOS clinicians will need to hold HCPCregistration.

Psicon is aspecialist neurodevelopmental service working both privately and with variousNHS trusts to provide autism and ADHD assessments. We are an independentorganisation, but most of our work is for the NHS, whom we are proud tosupport. Assessments are carried out by our team of associate clinicians from arange of clinical backgrounds, in satellite clinics across the country andremotely. Psicon is committed to offering the best psychological support andhealthcare available. We take an innovative approach to the delivery of ourservices and ensure that they are of the highest standards in the industry.
Job responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out high-quality ADOS assessments, as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) for children and young people.
- Effectively communicating with neurodiverse children and young people and their families. As well as internal and external staff.
- Produce high quality, detailed reports in a timely manner.

Person Specification
Experience
- A high level of clinical skills as evidenced by peer review and ADOS reports.
- Evidence of incorporating Psicons core values of commitment, trust, integrity, and kindness into their work with others.
- Holds the ADOS-2 certification.
- Ideally experience across all ADOS modules including Bosa.
- Willingness to work flexibly across a range of clinic models, venues and days of the week.
- Good communication skills and level of IT literacy.
- An interest to advance professionally as evidenced by attendance, and contribution to the Psicon Reflective Practice Meetings and ADOS Q&A sessions, ADOS reliability meeting, and / or other CPD events within their professional clinical practice.
