Psicon is a specialist neurodevelopmental service working collaboratively with various NHS trusts to provide autism and ADHD assessments. Psicon is seeking a Consultant Paediatrician with expertise in autism and ADHD to join our multi-disciplinary team. We are committed to providing the highest quality diagnostic assessments, treatment, and support for Autism, ADHD, and Mental Wellbeing.
About the role:
- Deliver high-quality, NICE compliant autism and ADHD assessments.
- For those diagnosed with ADHD, determine clinical suitability for pharmacological treatment and develop bespoke treatment plans for children in line with NICE guidelines, BNFc and company clinical protocols.
- Collaborate with our multi-disciplinary team, including clinical psychologists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, psychiatrists and registered nurses.
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to independent non-medical prescribers.
- Participate in case discussions and oversee complex clinical cases.

What we are looking for:
- Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH).
- CCT in General Paediatrics, Paediatric Neurology, or Community Child Health.
- Experience at a consultant level.
- A commitment to improving outcomes for children with autism and ADHD.
- Experience working in MDTs for patients with complex needs.
- Strong team ethos and the ability to collaborate effectively.
