About us
Psicon is a specialist neurodevelopmental service working both privately and with various NHS trusts to provide autism and ADHD assessments. We are an independent organisation, but most of our work is for the NHS, whom we are proud to support. Assessments are carried out by our team of associate clinicians from a range of clinical backgrounds, in satellite clinics across the country and remotely. Psicon is committed to offering the best psychological support and healthcare available. We take an innovative approach to the delivery of our services and ensure that they are of the highest standards in the industry.
Main duties of the job
- Carrying out high-quality ADOS assessments, as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) for children and young people.
- Effectively communicating with neurodiverse children and young people and their families, as well as internal and external staff.
- Producing high quality, detailed reports in a timely manner.

Person Specification
- A high level of clinical skills as evidenced by peer review and ADOS reports.
- Evidence of incorporating Psicon's core values of commitment, trust, integrity, and kindness into their work with others.
- Holds the ADOS-2 certification.
- Ideally experience across all ADOS modules including Bosa.
- Willingness to work flexibly across a range of clinic models, venues and days of the week.
- Good communication skills and level of IT literacy.
- An interest to advance professionally as evidenced by attendance and contribution to the Psicon Reflective Practice Meetings and ADOS Q&A sessions, ADOS reliability meeting, and/or other CPD events within their professional clinical practice.
