Psicon is a specialist neurodevelopmental service working collaboratively with various NHS trusts to provide autism and ADHD assessments. About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Lead to join our Reports team. This role involves overseeing the reports administration process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of clinical reports, while managing and supporting a team of administrators. The role is based in the centre of Canterbury, Kent (Please note there is no onsite parking). We operate a 7 days a week service with the core working week for this role Monday-Friday, hours are 09:00-17:00 (30 minute break) with 4 days in office /1 day WfH (37.5h contract). Candidates will also be asked to work approx. 1 weekend day every 4 weeks, to provide "on call" management support to the weekend teams.

Principal duties and responsibilities:

  • Line management of the Reports team, including regular supervision, appraisals, and performance development.
  • Oversee daily report workflows to ensure timely completion and compliance with KPIs.
  • Escalate issues related to report quality, turnaround times, and clinician input to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with contract coordinators to monitor and audit report performance.
  • Respond to escalated queries from the assessment reports inbox.
  • Lead on quality assurance checks for formatted reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Input and oversee data entry into spreadsheets and clinical systems.
  • Support the Service Manager with feedback, complaints, and service improvements.

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience of team management, a minimum of 2 years is required.
  • Strong organisational skills and proven experience working in a target-driven or KPI-focused environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in report formatting and proofreading.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
