About Us
Psicon is a specialist neurodevelopmental service working both privately and with various NHS trusts to provide autism and ADHD assessments. We are an independent organisation, but most of our work is for the NHS, whom we are proud to support. Assessments are carried out by our team of associate clinicians from a range of clinical backgrounds, in satellite clinics across the country and remotely. Psicon is committed to offering the best psychological support and healthcare available. About The Role
The roles are based in the centre of Canterbury, Kent.
The core hours are 09:00-17:30 (37.5 hours). The typical working week for administrative staff is Monday-Friday however our clinics run 7 days a week so variations to include weekend days can be considered. There is a minimum requirement of 3 days a week on site and other days worked from home.
The successful candidate will have worked in a similar role supporting professionals from health, social care or education setting. They will be highly organised with strong I.T skills and an ability to work independently whilst respecting organisational protocols.
Principle duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Working closely with the Clinician Support Team Manager and Operational departments to support the effective and efficient running of all clinical activities across a range of locations, including remote access.
- Act as the initial point of contact for clinician enquiries, liaising between associate clinicians, and other Psicon departments, to sign post accordingly.
- Offer a high level of support to associate clinicians with regards to IT and clinical operations systems to ensure procedures are understood and followed.
- In collaboration with Clinician Support Team Manager and Quality and Operations departments, support clinicians to respond in a timely manner to complaints, non-conformances/deviations, adverse incidents and near misses.
- In collaboration with the clinic coordinators and bookings team help facilitate complex assessment appointments requiring clinicians with specific skill sets.
Person Specification
- Able to demonstrate behaviours consistent with Psicon’s core values of trust, integrity, commitment and kindness.
- Experience in a role supporting professionals from health, social care or education setting.
- Well-developed awareness of neurodevelopmental conditions (autism and ADHD).
- The ability to communicate professionally and confidently with a range of clinicians (doctors, clinical psychologists, speech and language therapists etc).
- Well -organised with an ability to prioritise tasks and problem solve.
- Ability to collate, present, and interpret information from a variety of sources.
- Strong IT and written skills.
