Overview
Independent Clinical Network. Hybrid. Network Flexi. Flexible. Basingstoke. RG21 4AB. We are seeking dedicated and experienced Clinical Psychologists to join our independent clinician network to undertake ADOS assessments for our rapidly expanding Children\\\’s assessment services. Lots of opportunity for qualified Clinical Psychologists wishing to work on flexible case loads. All Psicon associate ADOS clinicians will need to hold HCPC registration and can be from any of the following clinical backgrounds – Clinical Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist or Educational Psychologist.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out high-quality ADOS assessments, as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) for children and young people.
- Effectively communicating with neurodiverse children and young people and their families, as well as internal and external staff.
- Produce high quality, detailed reports in a timely manner.
What We Are Looking For
- A high level of clinical skills as evidenced by peer review and ADOS reports.
- Evidence of incorporating Psicon\\\’s core values of commitment, trust, integrity, and kindness into their work with others.
- Holds the ADOS-2 certification.
- Experienced and confident in all ADOS modules including Bosa.
- Face to face assessments to be completed in our Basingstoke clinic.
- Willingness to work flexibly across a range of clinic models, venues and days of the week.
- Good communication skills and level of IT literacy.
- An interest to advance professionally as evidenced by attendance, and contribution to the Psicon Reflective Practice Meetings and ADOS Q&A sessions, ADOS reliability meeting, and/or other CPD events within their professional clinical practice.
