About The Role

The Clinical Administrator will be able to adapt to a very demanding and complex clinical service, offering support to a range of clinicians working across our Autism and ADHD assessment services. They must have experience in health, social care, or have worked in clinical service environment and must have strong IT and communication skills.

Principle duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Monitoring clinical team\’s email inbox and responding to email enquiries/escalating to relevant team member where appropriate.
  • Supporting clinical and safeguarding teams with administrative tasks such as minuting meetings and taking actions, diary management and monitoring work flow.
  • Supporting with the drafting of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Supporting with undertaking clinical audits against KPIs.
  • Logging and recording all risk and safeguarding concerns and liaising with internal teams and external services (such as GPs) to join up care.
  • Ensuring that the highest level of customer service is provided to every individual you have contact with in the role, in line with Psicon’s organisational goals.
  • Completing detailed and accurate records of every client contact.
  • Effectively managing situations where conflict may arise.
  • Escalating more complex enquiries to the appropriate colleague.
  • Accurately and efficiently uploading documentation to online patient management system.
  • Liaising with GPs/other services and professionals where relevant via telephone and email.
  • Effectively using online patient management system to move patients through their journey with Psicon.

Person Specification

  • Able to demonstrate behaviours consistent with Psicon’s core values of trust, integrity, commitment and kindness.
  • Experience in a role supporting professionals from a health, social care or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of neurodevelopmental conditions (autism and ADHD) a distinct advantage.
  • The ability to communicate professionally and confidently with a range of clinicians (doctors, clinical psychologists, speech and language therapists etc.).
  • Well-organised with an ability to prioritise tasks and problem solve.
  • Ability to collate, present, and interpret information from a variety of sources.
  • Strong IT and written skills.
  • Hybrid 3 days in clinic / office location and 2 days WFH.
