About Us

Psicon is a specialist neurodevelopmental service working both privately and with various NHS trusts to provide autism and ADHD assessments.

We are an independent organisation, but most of our work is for the NHS, whom we are proud to support.

Assessments are carried out by our team of associate clinicians from a range of clinical backgrounds, in satellite clinics across the country and remotely.

About the Role

The role is based in the centre of Canterbury, Kent (Please note that there is onsite parking). The working days are Monday - Friday, hours are 17:00 – 20:30 (17.5 hours per week)

This role involves managing the front desk, greeting visitors, and ensuring a welcoming, organised environment.

Responsibilities include handling phone calls, managing clinic supplies, supporting administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities.

The position requires excellent communication, strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with the team and be able to demonstrate an element of lone working.

A reliable and adaptable approach is essential to maintain clinic efficiency and security.

Principle duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to

  • Supporting clinicians on evening clinics.
  • Meeting and greeting clients, deliveriesand other visitors.
  • Ensuring waiting area remains a calm, welcoming andaclean and tidy environment.
  • Reporting any maintenance/decor issues to our facilities team.
  • Shut down all areas not in use at the end of the day and handover to Housekeeping team.
  • Taking deliveries and ensuring these are appropriatelydealt with.
  • Locking up building and final security checks including closing car parks.

Person Specification

  • Previous Front of House experience is essential
  • Experience working in a similar position
  • Excellent communication with a strong customer Service focus.
  • Highly Organised with strong administrative skills.
  • Efficient in Microsoft Office
  • Detail-oriented and proactive.
  • Team-oriented, collaborative, reliable and adaptable and also be able to lone work when needed.
  • Experience closing offices or buildings
