Responsibilities include:
- Keep oneself well-informed about the products and services provided by the suppliers
- Verify that purchase orders have complete and accurate information
- Regularly communicate with suppliers to check on the progress of purchase orders
- Coordinate with team members and co-workers to stay up-to-date on the status of purchase orders
- Keep precise and up-to-date pricing information
- Record all purchasing transactions in the system
- Keep an up-to-date list of approved suppliers
- Responsibility to ensure imported goods are cleared without delay & purchase orders delivered in full
