Our client is a leading provider of renewable energy solutions. They specialise in the design, installation, and maintenance of solar and wind power systems for residential, commercial, and industrial customers and have ventured into the EV space. Their aim is to help their clients reduce their carbon footprint and lower their energy costs, while also supporting the growth of clean, renewable energy sources. They are a leading independent connections provider accredited by Lloyds, through the NERS scheme allowing them to provide an end to end service including connection to the DNO network.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join their team in Swindon. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the company's projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of two years of experience in Project Management within an ICP or DNO environment and a strong electrical background. You must be an excellent internal/external communicator, motivated to tackle and complete challenging projects with strict deadlines, and have the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Defining and managing project scope, goals, and deliverables
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules, including creating and tracking project milestones
  • Coordinating and leading project team members, including delegating tasks and providing guidance and support
  • Communicating project status and progress to stakeholders, including regular status updates and reports
  • Managing project risks and issues, including identifying potential risks, developing mitigation plans, and tracking progress
  • Overseeing project budgets and finances, including managing project costs, monitoring expenses, and tracking project profitability
