A dynamic and forward-thinking engineering practice providing a wide range of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering services are seeking a Junior Electrical Design Engineer to join an expanding design team.
As a Junior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be expected to be able to develop designs and coordinate engineering services as well as having project experience and be familiar with building services standards. The ideal candidate would be educated to HNC/ONC/BTEC level in Building Services Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of two years UK industry experience.

Junior Electrical Design Engineer- Responsibilities include:
- Survey, tests and reports on existing installations
- Participate in technical meetings with professional and contractors’ teams.
- Undertake engineering calculations using Amtech, Pro-Design or equivalent software.
- Preparing tender specifications and drawings for projects
- Responsible for technical performance of others including trainee, graduates and engineers.
Junior Electrical Design Engineer- Requirements include:
- Competent in specification design/drawing for several building types
- Knowledge of MS Office applications - word, excel, etc.
- An understanding of British Standards
- Ability to prioritise own workload.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
Schedule- Monday-Friday 37.5 Hours
