Injection Mould Setter / Process Technician. Our manufacturing client based in Oxfordshire are a leading supplier to the highways industry. The company supply thousands of products to over 30 countries worldwide and trade with some of the biggest names in industry.

Pay Information: Hourly rate £15.30 - £19.67 (Approx £35K - £45K per annum.) Weekly paid job.
Injection Mould Setter duties include:
- Be responsible for all aspects of the injection moulding process including, but not limited to, tool change,
securing the tool (with the use of programming software) set-up and shut down, troubleshooting and
setting of ancillary equipment. - Hand over the Injection moulding machine to production when the change is complete.
- Ensure that granulators are used when required and report any reasons why they have not been used.
- Ensure that the correct ancillary equipment is connected correctly and set up.
- Complete tool changes in a safe, effective and timely manner.
- Be responsible for maintaining equipment and machinery.
Skills & Experience:
- At least 3 years’ experience setting, conditioning, maintaining & optimisation of injection machines.
- A recognised injection moulding qualification as advantage
- Previous experience designing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
- Previous experience in maintenance of injection moulding machines
- Previous experience working in Injection moulding experience with reprocessed PVC, PE, PP, NYLON
- Experience in tool hanging / removal & setting of injection mould presses
Hours of Work: Option 1) Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00 (40hrs pw) (Negotiable)
OR Option 2) Monday – Thursday 06:00 – 18:00 (44 hrs pw.)
