Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for day to day maintenance
- Responsible for troubleshooting
- Required to tune machinery
- Install new and old paper making and converting equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, such as National Electrical Code (NEC) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines
- Document and maintain records of electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations
- Work collaboratively with other technicians, engineers, and supervisors to troubleshoot and solve electrical problems
Desirables include:
- Experience in working in a continuous process production environment
- In-depth knowledge of all common aspects of routing plant, inverter drives, PLC equipment and instrumentation
- Experience in fault finding with a variety of electrical equipment ranging from PLC automated machinery to SCADA systems, DC drives and high voltage heavy plant machinery
- A natural self-starter and leader
- Ability to encourage other members of your team to resolve problems quickly and efficiently
- Thrive in developing processes, systems and implement continuous improvement procedures
- Training will be given that is required for your development
Schedule: Monday-Friday 40 Hours, Overtime available, on-call system with a 24hr response one week in four.
