Head of Procurement to oversee the procurement function and implement effective processes and strategies. This role involves negotiating group contracts to achieve optimal commercial value across all expenditures. You will influence both internal and external stakeholders, including clients, throughout the sourcing process to successfully execute category plans, meet group objectives, and address business needs. Your focus will be on risk management and maximizing commercial benefits in alignment with our business strategy while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

CIPs qualified and/or extensive knowledge and experience of the fundamentals of procurement

Strong negotiation skills and commercial expertise

Strong presentation skills including the ability to present complex information clearly

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrable experience within contract law and commodity or base raw material tracking methods

Sound understanding of financial accounts

Full understanding of the principles of industrial supply and supplier compliance

Solid leadership skills with the ability to achieve results through collaborative working with others, * Proven experience in a managerial procurement role in the Industrial/Manufacturing or construction sector

  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills

  • Excellent strategic planning and organisational skills

  • Thorough understanding of supply chain and logistics

  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
