Our Industrial Services team are recruiting 2 x Security Person.

Job Details:

  • Start Date: ASAP (depending on dockyard clearance)
  • Rate: £14.59ph PAYE, overtime (weekends) £21.89ph PAYE
  • Duration: Ongoing
  • Working hours: Mon-Fri (Apply online only) (Overtime & Weekends available ad hoc)
  • Location: Plymouth, Devonport Dockyard

Duties:

  • First point of contact to internally man the entrances/gates to the areas which the client operate within the dockyard.
  • Must have moderate IT skills to use internal systems.
  • Will also be trained up to help as a vehicle banksman.

Key Skills:

  • Personable - polite and approachable as first point of contact for all staff and visitors.
  • Basic level of computer skills - will be required to use the Data Scope software (training will be provided).

Candidates must have:

  • SIA Ticket/Badge – minimum of SG level required.
  • CSCS Card desirable, if you don’t have this we can help you to obtain one.

With this role, you will have to undergo the following:

  • Drug and alcohol testing as part of induction and ad hoc.
  • BPSS and SC clearance for dockyard - This includes identity verification, employment history review, and a criminal record check.
