Composite Operative

Our Industrial Services team are actively recruiting for Composite Operatives starting ASAP. \\n\\nThis can be a varied role, and duties can vary from day to day which can include cleaning, industrial cleaning, hot work sentry and confined space work. \\n\\nJob Details: \\n\\nStart Date: ASAP, based on security clearance and site requirements \\n\\nRates: £11.44 Monday to Friday, £12.58 Saturday, £13.73 Sunday \\n\\nDuration: Ongoing \\n\\nWorking hours: Various shifts ranging from 0600/0730 to 1700/1800 with a backshift from (Apply online only) including weekends, arranged weekly. \\n\\nLocation: Portsmouth \\n\\nDuties can include but are not limited to: \\n\\nMonitor ongoing hot work operations such as welding, burning, grinding, and gouging. \\n\\nProtect ship fittings and equipment before commencing work \\n\\nKeep hot work materials cool by dampening metal work or extinguishing any fires that occur \\n\\nRaise the alarm promptly in case fire or any other incident, following established protocol \\n\\nRemove all combustible items from both the hot work side and the return side. \\n\\nKeep the work area clean and tidy. \\n\\nProtect equipment and fittings that cannot be removed using fire blankets. \\n\\nInspect adjacent compartments for paint, lagging, and other flammable materials. \\n\\nPerform cleaning duties as required and where necessary. \\n\\nBenefits:   \\n\\nWeekly pay   \\n\\nLocal office with a dedicated account manager   \\n\\nWith this role you will have to undergo the following:   \\n\\nDrug and alcohol testing as part of induction \\n\\nBPSS clearance for dockyard – This includes identity verification, employment history review, and a criminal record check. \\n\\nTo Apply: \\n\\nClick Apply Now below to submit your relevant information, email Yasmin on or call (phone number removed) to discuss further
