Objective of Role
We are looking for a high-energy, results-oriented New Business Development Manager to join our team. Your mission is simple: identify, engage, and convert high-potential prospects into long-term PSE partners. You will play a key role in raising our profile and positioning our agency as the go-to partner for direct mail/print marketing solutions, working closely with the senior leadership team and your existing contacts to deliver ambitious growth targets.
Job Role & Responsibilities
- Pipeline Generation: The priority of this role is to proactively identify and prospect new business opportunities within key sectors (Retail, Home Services, Finance, FMCG, etc.).
- CRM Management: Maintain a clean and active sales pipeline, providing regular reporting on KPIs, lead conversion, and revenue forecasts.
- Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers, marketing leaders, and procurement teams at prospect businesses with regular meeting check-ins to ensure conversations are maintained and progressing.
- Strategic Networking: Represent PSE at industry events and networking forums, acting as a brand ambassador for our agency.
- Consultative Selling: Understand a prospect’s marketing and print challenges and present PSE’s offline solutions (Direct Mail, Door Drops, Inserts) as a high-performing alternative or supplement to digital channels.
- Pitch Leadership: Lead the end-to-end FIRST sale process, from lead development, initial discovery calls to delivering high-impact pitches and closing deals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our CEO & Strategy teams to build bespoke "proof of concept" proposals that demonstrate our capabilities and our ability to deliver the right results for our clients.
- On-board new clients: Successfully on-board new clients, taking them from pitch to 1st order using our kaizen on-boarding process.
