We are looking for a high-energy, results-oriented New Business Development Manager to join our team. Your mission is simple: identify, engage, and convert high-potential prospects into long-term PSE partners.
- Pipeline Generation: The priority of this role is to proactively identify and prospect new business opportunities within key sectors (Retail, Home Services, Finance, FMCG, etc.).
- CRM Management: Maintain a clean and active sales pipeline, providing regular reporting on KPIs, lead conversion, and revenue forecasts.
- Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers, marketing leaders, and procurement teams at prospect businesses with regular meeting check-ins to ensure conversations are maintained and progressing.
- Strategic Networking: Represent PSE at industry events and networking forums, acting as a brand ambassador for our agency.
- Understanding Client Needs: Understand a prospect’s marketing and print challenges and present PSE’s offline solutions (Direct Mail, Door Drops, Inserts) as a high-performing alternative or supplement to digital channels.
- Pitch Leadership: Lead the end-to-end FIRST sale process, from lead development, initial discovery calls to delivering high-impact pitches and closing deals.
- Client Onboarding: Successfully on-board new clients, taking them from pitch to 1st order using our kaizen onboarding process, before passing them over to the Account Management team for future management.
New business clients (number/value v. Onboarding of at least 15 good quality clients per annum, who are highly likely to continue using print marketing after their initial order).
Experience: 5+ years of experience in a B2B New Business/Sales role, ideally within a marketing agency, media sales, or the print/mail industry.
Tenacious Prospector: You are comfortable with cold outreach, LinkedIn social selling, and 'opening doors' that others find closed.
