Senior Product Development Manager – EMEA (Public and Private Markets)
A top global asset manager is searching for a Senior Product Development Manager working across public and private markets across Europe. This role will be based in London and will be reporting to the Head of EMEA Product.
This candidate will play a key role in supporting the growth of the product range through product strategy and development across the region. The Product team encompasses multiple specialised units responsible for product across our global portfolio, internally ex-US. Our comprehensive product range includes cross-border mutual funds, locally domiciled funds, ETFs, private assets, and alternative investment vehicles.
Our teams are strategically organised around the complete product value chain. We cover the full spectrum from initial market research and product design through development and implementation. This integrated approach ensures efficient project execution while maintaining robust product governance and comprehensive legal documentation standards.
Responsibilities
- Propose and develop new, innovative investment strategies across public and private markets
- Connect Investment and Sales teams by leveraging deep financial markets knowledge and distribution expertise
- Facilitate productive exchanges between business functions using problem-solving and pragmatic approaches
- Manage complete product lifecycle from opportunity identification and evaluation through development and market launch
- Apply comprehensive understanding of sustainable product complexities and technical requirements
- Contribute strategic insights to drive organisational performance and support company-wide objectives

- Proven track record in product role in the investment management industry
- Knowledge of core business strategy frameworks, competitive analysis, market definition, and product development initiatives
