Interim Desktop & Server Manager sought to lead a desktop, server and infrastructure support team for an initial 3-month period to cover the recruitment of a permanent candidate. You will ensure system performance and manage a skilled technical team.
Location: Yorkshire/Manchester.
Rate: Circa £500 per day.
Contract: Interim 3-month assignment.
Responsibilities:
- Experience of leading a technical team.
- Experience of delivering desktop, server and infrastructure support services.
- Good understanding of Server technologies, virtualisation platforms, and desktop OS.
- A good understanding of endpoint management and monitoring tools and backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- A solid understanding of security and compliance.
- Solid understanding and a track record of working with ITIL processes.
- Strong people management capability with the ability to work with technical teams and also interface at a senior level in the business.
- Strong project management capability.
