A confidential, high-growth hospitality group is seeking an experienced IT Lead to support its expanding portfolio of hotels across Europe. The role is central to ensuring the smooth daily operation of property-level systems while contributing to major refurbishment, new-opening and transformation initiatives. This position requires a combination of strong technical expertise, operational understanding and the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and VIP users.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational & Systems Support
- Provide day‑to‑day support for Hotel PMS (Opera/MEWS), POS, Door Access, CCTV, WiFi, payment systems, booking platforms and associated technologies.
- Ensure responsive, solution‑oriented assistance to all hotel departments to maintain consistently high operational standards and guest experience.
- Strengthen collaboration between central IT and property teams, ensuring effective communication and operational alignment.
- Refurbishments & New Openings
- Lead IT activities for refurbishment projects, including infrastructure upgrades, system migrations, cabling and hardware installation.
- Oversee IT delivery for new property openings to ensure each site launches with reliable and compliant technology.
- Work closely with Construction, Design, Operations and third‑party suppliers to implement technical solutions that are efficient, secure and future‑ready.
- Executive & VIP Technology Support
- Provide high‑quality, discreet, white‑glove IT support to senior executives and VIP users.
- Ensure the smooth operation of meeting rooms, collaboration platforms, communication systems and executive devices.
- Manage sensitive, urgent and confidential issues with professionalism and discretion.
- Infrastructure, Security & Compliance
- Manage property networks, WiFi systems, servers, end‑user devices and cloud platforms.
- Administer user access, identity management and security through Active Directory, Azure AD and Office 365.
- Maintain strong cybersecurity controls, PCI compliance and strict adherence to data‑protection standards.
- Scaling, Standardisation & Process Improvement
- Support the development of standardised, scalable IT processes suitable for a multi‑site hospitality group.
- Contribute to the modernisation of systems and the technological evolution of the organisation.
- Assist in shaping the IT roadmap as the company continues to grow across Europe.
Candidate Requirements
Essential Experience
- Significant IT experience within the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of some of the following – PMS, POS, Door Access, CCTV, Telephony/VoIP and other hotel‑specific systems.
- Strong technical understanding of Windows technologies, networking, WiFi, Active Directory, Azure AD and Office 365.
- Confidence and professionalism in supporting senior executives and VIP stakeholders.
