Tax Manager

Location: Cardiff Area (Hybrid)

Our client is a growing independent accountancy practice with clients across South Wales, the UK and internationally. Due to client demand they are seeing a number of Tax Managers to join the team supporting a diverse portfolio of clients. Clients range from private customers to ambitious sole traders and globally quoted groups, with a core focus on privately owned businesses, entrepreneurs, and individuals with significant private wealth.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Tax Manager to join our expanding Tax Department. This role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to work closely with business owners and senior stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing a varied portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients
  • Handling all aspects of tax compliance and client relationship management
  • Providing tailored tax advice on a range of matters and responding to ad hoc queries
  • Supporting and mentoring Tax Assistants and Seniors within the team
  • Collaborating across departments to deliver a seamless client experience

What We’re Looking For

  • Solid experience in either personal and corporate tax compliance and advisory
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior staff is a plus
  • CTA qualified is preferred, but we welcome applications from candidates qualified by experience
