PSD are partnering with a PE-backed international real estate and hospitality group to appoint a Tax Director — this is a newly created, first-in-role opportunity with genuine scope to shape and own the tax function globally. Reporting to the VP of Finance (with a dotted line to the CFO), this role offers end-to-end responsibility for tax across multiple jurisdictions, supporting acquisitions, refinancing, investment activity and ongoing portfolio management.

You’ll work closely with senior leadership, external advisors and the external PE house’s tax team, acting as a trusted advisor while embedding robust governance and controls as the business scales.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Owning all tax matters across the international portfolio
  • Leading tax compliance, reporting and advisor management globally
  • Providing hands-on tax input into M&A, structuring and due diligence
  • Supporting investor and PE reporting requirements (incl. US & Canada)
  • Driving best-in-class tax governance, planning and risk management
