PSD Group are partnering with a leading UK investment organisation seeking a Real Estate Fund Accountant to support a substantial real estate portfolio comprising pooled funds, SPVs and direct property investments.

This is an opportunity to join a highly respected investment team, working closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Tax and Investment Management while gaining exposure to complex real estate structures and strategic transactions.

The Opportunity

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, fund accounting, treasury management and technical accounting support across a diverse real estate portfolio. You will oversee third-party service providers, support acquisitions and disposals, coordinate audit activity and provide meaningful financial insight to support investment decision-making.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing quarterly management accounts, NAV reporting and investment performance reporting
  • Supporting statutory reporting, year-end accounts and audit delivery across fund and SPV structures
  • Managing budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting activities
  • Overseeing treasury, capital calls, distributions and liquidity management
  • Supporting acquisitions, disposals and financial due diligence processes
  • Reviewing VAT and CIS compliance across the portfolio
  • Strengthening financial controls, governance frameworks and process improvements
  • Building strong relationships with investment, tax, legal and external service provider teams

About You

  • Be a Qualified Accountant (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience within real estate, property funds, or institutional investment environments
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, fund accounting and financial controls
  • Knowledge of FRS 102 and UK statutory reporting requirements
  • Experience managing third-party administrators, auditors or service providers
  • Proactive, commercially minded and confident working with senior stakeholders
  • Knowledge of Yardi, SUN or Power BI would be advantageous
