For one of our clients, a leading provider of innovative software solutions for the financial services industry, we are currently looking for an experienced Cloud Site Reliability Engineer to join their UK entity in London (hybrid). Working with our client means joining one of the most recognised leaders in the fintech sector, renowned for their expertise in cloud security. Your Role
- Own day‑to‑day platform health and performance in a production AWS environment.
- Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation, handling incidents and troubleshooting critical infrastructure issues.
- Build CI/CD pipelines and automate testing and deployment workflows.
- Manage and optimise Kubernetes environments, ensuring efficient use of resources and smooth deployments.
- Identify and address weaknesses in system design, architecture, and fail‑over strategies.
- Incident Management & Root Cause Analysis.
- Security, Compliance & Governance.
- Work closely with development teams.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to team documentation, playbooks, and internal training.
Your Profile
- Hands‑on experience with AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM).
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes: deployments, scaling, service mesh (Linkerd preferred), ingress and autoscaling.
- Strong skills in Terraform/Terragrunt and infrastructure as code principles.
- CI/CD with Git, Bitbucket, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeline.
- Experience with observability platforms: Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, Datadog, or similar.
