Our client, a global leader in secure and resilient maritime communications, is looking to appoint a Senior Sales Manager to drive new business growth across the UK, USA, and other key international territories. With a strong presence across all maritime domains, and with a growing interest in the Oil & Gas and Offshore sectors, the business offers a holistic range of hardware, airtime, and smart service solutions. This role presents an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected organisation at the forefront of maritime connectivity, with a focus on building lasting client relationships and future-proofing the product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote the full suite of the company’s maritime communications solutions, sector wide but with emphasis on the commercial shipping, offshore and Oil & Gas sectors
- Generate and manage new business opportunities across existing and emerging markets
- Lead and support a small international team (UK & Netherlands)
- Collaborate closely with service and technical teams to ensure outstanding client support
- Handle inbound sales enquiries and contribute to wider strategic account development
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, events, and customer engagements worldwide
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, reporting, and account planning
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven background in selling maritime NAVCOM solutions
- Minimum 3 years’ experience managing small sales teams (1-2 reports initially)
- Strong commercial acumen and deep understanding of the maritime market, including end users
- Confident engaging with both technical stakeholders and senior leadership (including C-suite)
- Highly self-motivated, organised, and comfortable working flexibly across time zones
- IT literate (MS365) with experience using CRM/sales tracking tools
- Eligible to obtain UK SC (Security Clearance)
