We’re seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to take ownership of H&S across a large, multi-use hospitality estate covering accommodation, leisure, golf, maintenance and guest services. This is a key leadership role responsible for developing and embedding a proactive safety culture across the estate, ensuring full compliance with UK legislation and consistently high standards of risk management and guest safety. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and department heads as the central point of expertise for all Health & Safety matters.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure full compliance with UK H&S legislation and internal policies
  • Lead estate-wide risk assessments, audits and inspections
  • Oversee incident reporting, investigations and corrective actions
  • Manage COSHH, PUWER, RAMS and contractor compliance
  • Deliver H&S training and maintain compliance records
  • Support emergency planning, drills and evacuation procedures
  • Oversee contractor activity across maintenance and project works
  • Produce monthly H&S reports for senior leadership
  • Drive continuous improvement and cultural safety improvement
THE PERSON
  • Strong Health & Safety background within hospitality, leisure or estates environments
  • NEBOSH (or equivalent) qualified
  • Experience within multi-site or complex operational settings
  • Confident managing contractors and senior stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of compliance, risk and incident investigation
  • Hands-on, proactive and operationally minded
