Private Family Office – London

The Company

A private family office in London with c.£200m commercial portfolio across London and the South East (offices, industrial mainly). The business employs c 15 people. They are seeking an additional Property Manager who also wished to be involved with Asset management, some development / refurbishment and help with new investment acquisitions as they are seeking to expand the portfolio this year.

The Role

• To run all aspects of management of the portfolio.

• Day-to-day property management, operational management of the portfolio, rent arrears recovery, dilapidations, lease enforcement.

• Liaise and oversee external agents, managing agents, lawyers and field enquiries with tenants – all service charges are managed externally.

• Be responsible for and assist in rent reviews and lease renewals, lettings, lease transactions and development

• Identify and assist in redevelopment / refurbishment projects from inception, through planning, pre-let and project completion.

• Assist in presenting and reporting on portfolio strategy, asset management schemes and new acquisitions.

• Assisting in underwriting of potential opportunities including the consideration of development and refurbishment options, devising and implementation of strategy for possession.

• Assist in the identification and analysis of new property acquisitions.

• Maintain accurate information and property data to manage and allow strategic analysis of the property portfolio.

Key skills and characteristics required

• Candidates should come from a property management background, MRICS qualified and have c.1 – 5 years post qualification experience.

• An excellent team worker, who is enthusiastic, extremely well organised and can build working relationships with all key stakeholders.

• Microsoft Office proficient, especially in Excel.

• Knowledge of Qube property management software desirable but not essential.

• Driving Licence (they will need to travel to sites).
