About the Client: My client is the air transport industry's IT provider, delivering solutions for airlines, airports, aircraft, and governments. Their technology powers more seamless, safe, and sustainable air travel. They are looking to hire an experienced Performance Tester on a contract basis for an initial 6 months, with a potential to extend further.
About the Role: Working within the Borders business unit, the ideal candidate will have experience in performance testing of UI, APIs, and messaging systems, with strong hands-on expertise in LoadRunner Suite, Azure/Jenkins pipelines, and Postman. This role will focus on ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of our applications.
Key Duties:
- Design and execute performance test plans for UI, APIs, and messaging systems.
- Use LoadRunner Suite and other tools to simulate load and analyse performance.
- Run performance testing pipelines using Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
- Use Postman for API validation as part of performance testing flows.
- Identify bottlenecks and diagnose performance issues in complex systems.
- Collaborate with developers and architects to optimize application performance.
- Test and assess Single Page Applications (SPAs) developed in Angular.
- Generate detailed test reports with analysis and improvement suggestions.
What we are looking for:
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong experience with LoadRunner Suite.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps or Jenkins pipelines.
- Experience using Postman for API testing.
- Solid understanding of performance testing across UI, APIs, and messaging systems.
- Hands-on experience with Single Page Applications (Angular).
