Our client is a leading specialist financial services provider currently building a technology hub in Manchester. They are currently seeking an experienced Lead Developer to provide hands‑on technical leadership within their IT Development Team. You will design, build and support insurance‑based solutions using the Microsoft technology stack, while mentoring developers and driving best‑practice delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor developers, setting coding and quality standards
- Design and deliver scalable solutions aligned to business objectives
- Produce technical specifications and contribute to the IT roadmap
- Conduct code reviews, testing and production support
- Collaborate with Architecture, Security and Infrastructure teams
- Drive innovation and adoption of modern development practices
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong development experience using MS SQL-Server and associated technologies (T-SQL, SSIS)
- Strong knowledge of the full SDLC
- Proven technical leadership and mentoring capability
- Experience in finance services or other regulated environments
- Experience with Informatica or other ETL tooling.
