A confidential, high‑growth hospitality group is seeking an experienced IT Lead to support its expanding portfolio of hotels across Europe. The role is central to ensuring the smooth daily operation of property‑level systems while contributing to major refurbishment, new‑opening and transformation initiatives. This position requires a combination of strong technical expertise, operational understanding and the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and VIP users.

The IT Lead will provide comprehensive support across hotel operations, infrastructure, security and executive‑level technology requirements. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between central IT and on‑property teams, ensuring that systems, networks and devices operate reliably within a fast‑paced hospitality environment. The role also carries responsibility for delivering IT workstreams across new openings and refurbishment projects, ensuring that each property is equipped with secure, modern and stable technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day‑to‑day support for Hotel PMS (Opera/MEWS), POS, Door Access, CCTV, WiFi, payment systems, booking platforms and associated technologies.
  • Ensure responsive, solution‑oriented assistance to all hotel departments to maintain consistently high operational standards and guest experience.
  • Strengthen collaboration between central IT and property teams, ensuring effective communication and operational alignment.
  • Lead IT activities for refurbishment projects, including infrastructure upgrades, system migrations, cabling and hardware installation.
  • Oversee IT delivery for new property openings to ensure each site launches with reliable and compliant technology.
  • Work closely with Construction, Design, Operations and third‑party suppliers to implement technical solutions that are efficient, secure and future‑ready.
  • Provide high‑quality, discreet, white-glove IT support to senior executives and VIP users.
  • Manage property networks, WiFi systems, servers, end‑user devices and cloud platforms.
Candidate Requirements
  • Strong IT experience within the hotel or hospitality industry.
  • Knowledge of some of the following - PMS, POS, Door Access, CCTV, Telephony/VoIP and other hotel‑specific systems.
  • Strong technical understanding of Windows technologies, networking, WiFi, Active Directory, Azure AD and Office 365.
  • Confidence and professionalism in supporting senior executives and VIP stakeholders.
  • Positive, energetic and approachable with strong attention to detail with excellent problem‑solving skills.
  • Proactive, self‑motivated and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
