Our client is a global transportation organisation currently seeking an experienced HR (HCM) Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a global Workday HCM implementation across a complex, federated environment supporting approximately 22,500 users worldwide. This role offers the opportunity to lead a greenfield transformation programme, replacing legacy systems and manual processes with a single, modern HCM platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full project lifecycle, from discovery and requirements definition through to implementation and global rollout
  • Establish and maintain robust project governance, planning, and reporting frameworks
  • Manage System Integrator (SI) selection, onboarding, and delivery performance
  • Ensure alignment between global standards and local regulatory and operational requirements
  • Oversee data migration, testing, deployment, and user adoption
  • Engage and manage senior stakeholders across multiple operating companies

Skills and Experience Required

  • Experience of leading the end to end delivery of Workday
  • Experience in System Integrator/vendor selection and management, including RFP processes
  • Ability to operate effectively within a federated, multi-entity environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, data migration, and system integration
  • Experience of leading projects end to end from vendor selection through to implementation
