We are partnering with a forward-thinking organisation in the transportation sector seeking an experienced Enterprise Data & Analytics Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a modern data strategy. The Role

As the Enterprise Data & Analytics Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evolving the organisation’s data architecture. You will ensure that data is structured, scalable, secure, and aligned with long-term business objectives. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, IT teams, and analytics professionals to translate business needs into robust and future-proof data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver strategic data architecture roadmaps aligned to business goals
  • Design and optimise data platforms including data warehouses, lakes, and databases
  • Develop scalable data models and ensure strong data quality, governance, and security
  • Lead the design and implementation of ETL pipelines and data integration solutions
  • Simplify and modernise existing data architecture to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet evolving data and analytics needs
  • Provide architectural leadership and governance across projects
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies within data and analytics

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience designing enterprise data architectures and data models
  • Strong background in data warehousing, analytics, and data engineering
  • Experience with modern data platforms such as Azure Databricks, PySpark
  • Experience with analytics and reporting technologies such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
  • Knowledge of cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
  • Experience with real-time data technologies (e.g., Kafka or similar)
  • Strong understanding of data governance, metadata, and data quality frameworks
  • Ability to engage and influence senior business stakeholders
