We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially astute Asset Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of Shopping Centre assets across the UK. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving asset performance, maximising income, and delivering long-term value through strategic management, leasing initiatives, and capital improvement programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement asset management strategies to enhance the financial and operational performance of the property portfolio.
  • Proactively identify and execute value-add opportunities, including lease re-gears, refurbishments, and redevelopment projects.
  • Oversee tenant relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction, retention, and timely rent collection.
  • Manage and coordinate leasing activities, working closely with external agents to secure new tenants and negotiate lease renewals.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and occupier demand to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and asset plans, ensuring alignment with investment objectives.
  • Review and analyse property performance metrics, financial reports, and valuations to assess risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with property management, finance, and development teams to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of all assets.
  • Oversee capital expenditure projects from conception to completion, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
  • Report regularly to senior management and investors on portfolio performance and key strategic initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related discipline (MRICS qualification desirable).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial property management or asset management, ideally with exposure to retail or shopping centres.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and property management systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proven track record of driving asset value and delivering measurable performance improvements.
