An established and highly respected technology organisation is investing in a newly centralised Presales & Bid Management function within its Banking & Financial Services division. This is a high-impact role for a commercially astute Presales Consultant who thrives at the intersection of solution architecture, stakeholder influence and complex bid delivery.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping how banking solutions are positioned to the market — designing compelling, compliant and differentiated responses that resonate with senior decision-makers and stand up to rigorous scrutiny. This is a role with visibility, influence and genuine scope to shape best practice across a large, multi-domain organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted solution architect, designing tailored functional and technical solutions aligned to customer needs and business outcomes.
  • Translate complex requirements into clear, compelling value propositions that showcase the organisation’s strengths within banking technology.
  • Own and lead end-to-end responses to RFIs, RFPs and formal tenders.
  • Ensure submissions are high quality, commercially sound, delivered on time and fully compliant with internal governance and client expectations.
  • Maintain control of bid documentation, messaging and versioning throughout the pursuit lifecycle.
  • Confidently present solution designs, architectural models and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders, including executive and board-level audiences.
  • Act as a credible, trusted adviser during complex sales cycles.
  • Coordinate multiple workstreams across technical, commercial, compliance, security and delivery teams.
  • Drive clarity, accountability and momentum, ensuring contributors are aligned and deadlines are met.
  • Champion structured, repeatable presales and bid processes.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to internal governance, quality standards and approval frameworks.
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution and maturity of the presales function.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven success managing end-to-end RFI/RFP processes, from shaping solutions through to final submission.
  • Experience in a Presales Consultant, Solution Consulting or Bid Management role within financial technology, banking platforms or enterprise software.
  • Strong understanding of banking products and services, with depth in one or more core banking, payments, lending or digital banking domains.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and influence senior stakeholders.
  • A strategic thinker with a hands‑on mindset — comfortable operating at both detail and executive level.
  • Organised, resilient and comfortable working across multiple pursuits in parallel.
