Development Manager, London

We are seeking an experienced and driven Development Manager to join a prestigious London-based real estate family office with a long-standing track record of delivering high-quality developments. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the delivery and management of commercial-led, mixed-use projects across Central and Greater London.

The Development Manager will lead projects from inception through to completion, working closely with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and local authorities. The role requires a deep understanding of the London property market, particularly in commercial and mixed-use schemes, along with strong planning, financial, and project management skills.

You will be responsible for managing the feasibility, planning, design, and delivery of a diverse pipeline of schemes that may include office, retail, leisure, residential, and public realm elements. This involves overseeing design teams, managing consultants and contractors, coordinating planning applications, and ensuring projects meet financial, regulatory, and sustainability targets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong development background, preferably within a client-side or family office environment, and a solid understanding of the planning landscape in London. A strategic mindset combined with attention to detail and an ability to navigate complex development processes is key. Experience in land acquisition, joint ventures, and asset repositioning is highly advantageous.
