Overview


We are seeking an experienced and driven Development Manager to join a prestigious London-based real estate family office with a long-standing track record of delivering high-quality developments. This is a unique opportunity to lead the delivery and management of commercial-led, mixed-use projects across Central and Greater London.


Responsibilities



  • Lead projects from inception through to completion, working with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and local authorities.

  • Manage feasibility, planning, design, and delivery of a diverse pipeline including office, retail, leisure, residential, and public realm elements.

  • Oversee design teams, manage consultants and contractors, coordinate planning applications, and ensure projects meet financial, regulatory, and sustainability targets.

  • Collaborate with the principal and a lean, high-performing team with deep market knowledge and long-term investment strategies.


Qualifications and experience



  • Strong understanding of the London property market, particularly commercial and mixed-use schemes.

  • Strong planning, financial, and project management skills.

  • Experience in development, preferably client-side or within a family office environment; solid understanding of the London planning landscape.

  • Strategic mindset with attention to detail; ability to navigate complex development processes. Experience in land acquisition, joint ventures, and asset repositioning is advantageous.
