Reporting to: Capital Projects Director

We’re seeking an experienced Project Management Team Leader to drive delivery across a growing capital projects programme. You’ll lead a small, high-performing team, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the capital projects team.
  • Oversee multiple capital and refurbishment projects, maintaining scope, budget, timeline, and quality.
  • Ensure robust project governance, risk management, and reporting.
  • Support strategic programme planning, prioritisation, and financial forecasting.
  • Coordinate contractors, consultants, and procurement to deliver value.
  • Ensure compliance with planning, building control, health & safety, and CDM regulations.
  • Provide clear updates to stakeholders and drive continuous improvement in project processes.
  • Manage successful handover of completed projects to operational teams.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven leadership in construction, capital projects, or large-scale refurbishments.
  • Experience managing and developing project teams.
  • Strong knowledge of governance, budgeting, procurement, planning regulations, and contractor management.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Desirable: Degree or professional qualification in project management, construction, engineering, or relevant certification (e.g., RICS, APM, PRINCE2).
