A fast-growing group in the Security sector is looking for a Business Development Manager to join one of its most successful businesses selling gates, barriers, shutters, and automatic doors.
Reporting to the Sales Director, this role will drive the ongoing growth of the business through identifying and engaging with new customers and fresh opportunities, as well as nurturing and developing opportunities with existing and lapsed customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new sales leads and convert to installations.
- Selling maintenance contracts on new and existing assets.
- Surveying of sites and consulting with customers to build bespoke products and systems to exceed expectations.
- Build relationships with multiple buyers and ensure high levels of conversion to closed business.
- Own project delivery through clear and concise communication with internal installation partners.
- Be continually aware of the changes in compliance and product development.
About you:
- Experience with the surveying and the sale of Automatic Gates and Barriers is a necessity for this role.
- Other additional B2B sales experience is an advantage.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to deliver outstanding customer service.
- A self-starter with proven ability to multitask, while demonstrating excellent organisational skills.
- Full Clean Driving Licence.
