We are seeking an experienced and motivated Care Manager / Deputy Manager / Senior Care Coordinator to support the effective running of a busy homecare branch.

You must have

  • Experience in domiciliary care (essential – even if not your current role)
  • The ability to drive

About the Role

As Care Manager, you will support the Branch Manager in the day‑to‑day running of the service, ensuring safe, compliant, high‑quality care delivery.

You will supervise office staff, deputise for the Branch Manager when required, and support all operational functions including:

  • Rostering & care coordination
  • Community care delivery
  • Compliance & audit
  • Payroll
  • Complaints & reporting

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe, legal and compliant delivery of services
  • Uphold company values in all aspects of service delivery
  • Implement London Care policies and procedures
  • Manage Coordinators and Supervisors alongside the Registered Care Manager
  • Support all aspects of care staff training
  • Organise and deliver Care Worker Induction Training
  • Lead regular staff meetings with the Registered Manager and Supervisors
  • Maintain full compliance across the branch
  • Ensure legal and ethical running of day‑to‑day operations
  • Work within regulatory legislation, standards and regulations
  • Maintain accurate records in line with legal requirements
  • Complete and monitor assessments for new and existing customers
  • Facilitate customer reviews in line with guidelines
  • Liaise with external health professionals
  • Plan and implement staff supervisions and appraisals
  • Deliver ongoing staff development in line with service needs
  • Monitor health & safety in the office and in the field
  • Hold shared responsibility for all staff alongside the Registered Manager
  • Manage quality control systems (uniforms, PPE, stationery etc.)
  • Support complaints management and performance protocols
  • Participate in the on‑call rota, responding flexibly to emergencies
  • Ensure emergency issues are resolved effectively, including covering calls when needed
  • Record and audit all emergency activity appropriately
