P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Tank Specialist to join their team based in the Essex area on a full-time, short-term basis.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on tank repair, decommissioning, and deconstruction to ensure on-site mechanical work meets the highest standards and complies with HSE, company standards, and specifications.
- Review repair worklists and engineering drawings and prepare technical and tender scopes of work to align with company specs and standards.
- Issue Scopes of Work according to company purchasing and planning procedures.
- Ensure Contractor QMSs are reviewed, approved, and implemented effectively.
- Prepare cost estimates to deliver the best value within budget constraints.
- Monitor costs to ensure they remain within the estimated range.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in a related field such as Piping, Mechanical, or Process Engineering.
- Previous experience as a Tank Specialist.
- Essential experience in decommissioning and deconstruction.
