P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join their team based in the Essex area on a full-time, short-term basis.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct technical and feasibility studies by analysing maps, survey reports, and plans to design cutting-edge civil engineering projects.
- Determine construction costs, adhere to local regulations, assess environmental impacts, and factor in other crucial elements for project success.
- Carry out thorough environmental impact assessments and identify potential risks to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Utilize engineering software like MATLAB and AutoCAD to create detailed project blueprints.
- Work closely with structural and piping engineers, as well as clients, to bring projects to life.
- Ensure compliance with engineering, local, and legal regulations, including health and safety protocols on-site.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
