P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their team on a permanent basis based in Great Yarmouth.
Please note before applying, you must hold a forklift license.
Main Responsibilities:
β’ Assist with co-ordination of bulk stock requirements and shipping.
β’ Assist with operations relating to the receiving and delivery of bulk/palletised materials.
β’ Liaising with customers and suppliers.
β’ Co-ordination of transport and movement of deliveries.
β’ Carrying out minor plant maintenance, as required.
β’ Assist with stock control.
β’ Warehouse duties including stock checks and general housekeeping.
β’ Forklift operations.
β’ Loading / unloading ships / containers.
β’ Sorting out necessary paperwork ie β Purchase Orders and delivery notes.
β’ Identifying conforming material and consign it to quarantine area, submitting relevant reports and subsequently disposing of the material.
β’ Raising and control of all related paperwork.
Person Specification:
β’ MUST hold a forklift license
β’ Multitasker.
β’ Able to use own initiative.
β’ Able to work within a team and hold great communication skills.
Working Hours & Benefits:
β’ Monday β Friday 08:00 β 17:00
β’ 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays.
