About the Role

P+S Recruitment are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a QHSE Officer to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full-time, permanent basis.

Main Responsibilities

  • Quality (ISO 9001)
    • Maintain and continuously improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System
    • Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits
    • Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective/preventive actions
    • Ensure documentation control and process standardisation
    • Support operational teams in maintaining quality standards in engine parts supply and distribution
  • Health & Safety (ISO 45001)
    • Ensure compliance with UK health & safety legislation
    • Conduct risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and safety inspections
    • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, implementing corrective actions
    • Deliver toolbox talks and internal H&S training
    • Promote a strong safety culture across all departments
  • Environmental (ISO 14001)
    • Maintain and improve the Environmental Management System
    • Monitor environmental performance and ensure compliance with regulations
    • Manage waste disposal, recycling, and sustainability initiatives
    • Support reduction of environmental impact across operations
  • General QHSE Duties
    • Maintain integrated ISO management system (9001, 14001, 45001)
    • Prepare for and lead external certification audits
    • Ensure policies, procedures, and records are up to date
    • Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors
    • Provide QHSE reports and KPIs to senior management
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
    • Any other duties considered necessary to fulfil the role.
    • Support with QHSE requirements of commercial documents Facilities Management.

Person Specification

  • Proven experience in a QHSE role within an industrial, engineering, or supply chain environment
  • Demonstrable experience maintaining and auditing:
  • ISO 9001 (Quality Management)
  • ISO 14001 (Environmental Management)
  • ISO 45001 (Health & Safety Management)
  • Experience preparing for and supporting external audits
  • Strong understanding of UK HSE legislation
