P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Production Technician to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full-time, permanent basis.
Role Summary: You will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function and not be afraid to get involved, while also supporting the development and growth of the company through improved systems and processes.
Main Responsibilities:
- Carrying out daily bookkeeping, including invoicing (sales and purchase), VAT returns, and debtor/creditor control
- Managing payment runs and conducting spend analysis
- Production of management information
- Implementing and improving systems and internal controls
- Collating information for payroll purposes
Experience and Qualifications:
- AAT qualified (or higher) or qualified by experience
- Minimum of 5 years bookkeeping or accounts experience
- A proactive approach to system and process improvement and financial controls
- Experience within a similar industry is desirable, but not essential
Working Hours and Benefits:
- Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
