P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a stores-person to join their team based in Great Yarmouth on a full-time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming stock and deliveries.
- Store and organise stock in the warehouse efficiently, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Operate a forklift safely and in compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations.
- Drive company van to deliver or collect goods as required.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock control processes.
- Support the team with general warehouse duties as required.
Person Specification:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, storeman, or similar role is preferred.
- Valid forklift license with proven experience operating forklifts safely.
- Full UK driving license with a clean driving record (for van driving).
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for stock management systems is an advantage.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
- Comfortable with standing, bending, and manual handling tasks throughout the day.
