P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Food Production Operative to join their team based in Norwich on a full-time, temporary basis.
Main Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery and equipment safely and correctly
- Prepare, weigh, and handle ingredients according to recipes and procedures
- Work on production lines packing, assembling, or processing food products
- Carry out basic quality checks during production
- Follow strict hygiene, food safety, and health & safety procedures (e.g. HACCP)
- Clean down equipment and maintain a tidy work area
- Report faults, shortages, or quality issues to supervisors
Person Specification:
- Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures
- Good attention to detail
- Basic numeracy and literacy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Previous factory or food experience is helpful but not essential
