P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinists to work on a full-time, temporary or contract basis in Great Yarmouth.
Main Responsibilities:
- Setting and operating CNC milling or turning machines
- Programming (online and/or offline experience beneficial)
- Manufacturing precision components to engineering drawings
- Carrying out quality inspections using measuring equipment
- Working to tight tolerances
- Maintaining high standards of quality, safety and housekeeping
Experience and Qualifications:
- Previous CNC milling or turning experience
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience using measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers and gauges
- Strong attention to detail
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, Haas, Mazatrol or other CNC controls is advantageous
