We are looking for an experienced Plumber / multi-skilled subcontractor to carry out bathroom adaptation works, with a strong focus on level access shower installations and associated building works for our client based in Norfolk. The role will mainly involve working in occupied domestic properties, carrying out adaptations such as removing existing baths and replacing them with low-profile level access shower systems. Works may also include altering bathroom layouts by moving or removing wash hand basins and WCs, preparing floors for level access shower formers, and carrying out all associated making-good works.
Main Responsibilities:
- Removal of baths, sanitaryware, tiles and existing finishes
- Bathroom strip-out and preparation works
- Cutting out floors for level access shower formers
- Latexing floors to receive specialist flooring
- Minor plumbing alterations such as moving basins and WCs
- Wall preparation and making good
- Fitting shower wall boards / bathroom wall boards
- Trimming and finishing works
- Fitting or replacing window boards / cills where required
- Rehanging doors
- Widening door openings and fitting new door linings where needed
- General carpentry and finishing associated with bathroom adaptation works
