Overview
P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently looking for an HR Advisor on a full-time, permanent basis located in Great Yarmouth.
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior management to design and deliver HR strategies that support business goals.
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle: Recruitment, Onboarding, Development, Performance, and Exits.
- Lead on employee relations, including disciplinary, grievances, and redundancy processes and provide generalist support.
- Maintain and improve HR policies and our HR information system.
- Analyse and report on key HR metrics, supporting strategic decision-making.
- Provide comprehensive and commercially focused professional advice on HR policies, procedures, employment legislation, and best practice across a wide range of day-to-day matters.
- Provide commercially sound recommendations based on data insights, operational needs, and knowledge of employment legislation and relevant case law.
- Support and coach managers to effectively manage attendance, productivity, and team performance.
- Interpret and analyse HR data to identify trends and support business decisions.
- Coordinate logistics for HR-related activities and initiatives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.
- Updating CVs and competencies, monitoring and organizing employee training.
- Any other duties required by the business.
Person Specification
- Previous experience working in an SME.
- Proven experience as a HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor in a generalist capacity.
- Strong up to date knowledge of UK Employment Law and HR best practice.
- Confident working independently and influencing at a senior level.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing or similar environment. (Desirable)
Working Hours
Monday - Thursday 08:30 - 16:30 and Friday 08:30 - 15:30. Flexible working for school hours can be accommodated. This will be fully office based.
